The Douglas County Sheriff’s Protective Association comprised of 77 Deputies, Investigators, and Jail Officers employed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, is pleased to announce our endorsement of Mark Jackson for Douglas County District Attorney in the 2006 election.

As a Deputy District Attorney, Mark Jackson has consistently proven himself to be the top prosecutor in the District Attorney’s Office. His dedication for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the community is greatly admired. He has aggressively led the county in the prosecution of methamphetamine related crimes and has taken a zero tolerance approach in those cases. Mark Jackson has an excellent track record reflecting his vigorous prosecution of crimes against children, the elderly and crimes of domestic violence. Mr. Jackson has a tenacious work ethic and an unwavering dedication to the community.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Protective Association is dedicated to the safety and security of Douglas County. As law enforcement officers committed to protecting and serving the community, and as fellow citizens, we are unanimous in our endorsement of Mark Jackson for District Attorney.
